Kevin took his first formal drum lesson at age nine. Eight years later he was one of three drummers selected to
represent the United States in the US Jazz Abroad Tour 1978, which toured seven European countries. He went on to
receive a bachelors in percussion performance at Northwestern University and began playing professionally at the age of twenty.
Kevin has performed in a wide variety of media, including television, radio and album recordings. He is regarded as one
of the finest players and teachers in the Chicago area. Since 1981 Kevin has maintained a busy schedule as a performer and teacher.
